The MB-D14 battery grip for Nikon D600 allows extended shooting and provides an additional grip for vertical composition. The D600 battery grip features a shutter release button, AE/AF lock, and command and sub-command dials, and a multi-selector pad. The controls on this battery grip duplicate those on the integrated camera grip. Its contoured design gives instant control when framing in the vertical (portrait) orientation without moving your hand from the shooting position.
The D600 battery grip can be powered by the EN-EL15 battery (same as the D600 original battery) or it can be powered by six AA batteries (Ni-MH, Alkaline or Lithium cells). Includes the MS-D14 AA Battery Holder to use with AA batteries, and the MS-D14EN Battery Holder for use with EN-EL15 battery.
Shots per charge when using only EN-EL15 battery in grip:
900 shots *
Shots per charge when using AAA batteries:
450 shots *
Shots per charge when using EN-EL15 battery in camera and EN-EL15 battery in grip:
900 (camera battery) + 900 (grip battery) = 1800 shots *
Shots per charge when using EN-EL15 battery in camera and 6 AA alkaline batteries in grip:
900 (camera battery) + 450 (grip batteries) = 1350 shots *
* = Measured using CIPA standard.
